Οι Ovvercross σχηματίσθηκαν στην Βραζιλία πριν από δεκαέξι έτη. Heavy metal μπάντα, η οποία κυκλοφόρησε ένα demo ("First Strike" 2006) κι ένα single ("First Strike" 2007) και μπήκε στον "πάγο" δισκογραφικά μέχρι και πέρυσι.
Μετά από ένα single ("Days of Changes" 2020) κι ένα ep ("So Survive" 2020) έφθασε η στιγμή για τον πρώτο "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο των Ovvercross, ο οποίος φέρει τον τίτλο "Stuttgart, 1943" και κυκλοφόρησε προ ημερών...
Δελτίο τύπου: «Stuttgart, 1943 is the debut album by the band Ovvercross. From Itaquaquecetuba, São Paulo, Ovvercross is a Heavy Metal band formed by the power trio Bruno Oliveira (Vocal / Guitar), Albert Cross (Drummer) and Leandro Bort (Bassist).
The album cover was developed by artist Marcio Aranha, and portrays the true story of a 9-year-old boy who is inside an air-raid shelter along with other children and adults. The fact happened in World War II, during the French attack on the city of Stuttgart in Germany.
Sheltered beneath the city's churches and schools, he agonizedly waited for the air raids to stop so he could return home, and in the midst of this horror of war only one thing crossed his mind, whether he would find his mother well and alive.»
About the song: «“Kill all the time”, inspired by an eight-month period of hospitalization for Leandro Bort's @bortleandro father (bass player) with kidney failure.
On visits to him in the hospital, he felt that death was there all the time, either his recovery or his death depended on time, but that period had a happy ending where his father is currently recovering.
The cover art features a chalice representing medicine / life, above it we have an hourglass with blood in place of the sands of time, every event being orchestrated by the hand of death. The entire art was developed by the bassist himself, with his last vestiges of visual residue.»
