Bio (GR): «Οι Rascal whack είναι μια πενταμελής heavy rock μπάντα από την Αθήνα με έτος δημιουργίας το 2013. Ο ήχος τους, ενώ διατηρεί το χαρακτήρα του, έχει διάφορες επιρροές από την grunge, stoner και metal. Αποτελείται από τους Στάθη Σκαλούμπακα (φωνητικά), Σπύρο Λαδά (lead guitar), Γρηγόρη Τουρβά (rhythm guitar, vocals), Χρήστο Λαδά (Bass) και Άκη Δελαπόρτα (Drums). Συστήθηκαν στο κοινό το 2015 με το Gameroller, το οποίο αποτελεί την πρώτη δισκογραφική τους δουλειά, ενώ έχουν παίξει σε αρκετά live στην Αθήνα. Η νέα τους κυκλοφορία ονομάζεται Maliveni, περιλαμβάνει 8 heavy rock συνθέσεις και κυκλοφόρησε στις 24 Ιουνίου.»

Their sound, while maintaining its character, has various influences from genres such as grunge, stoner and metal. It consists of Stathis Skaloumbakas (vocals), Spiros Ladas (lead guitar), Grigoris Tourvas (rhythm guitar, vocals), Christos Ladas (Bass) and Akis Delaportas (Drums). The band was introduced to their audience in 2015 with their first album Gameroller and they have played several gigs in Athens. Their new release is called Maliveni, includes 8 heavy rock compositions and was released on June 24.»

«Η λέξη Maliveni, σημαίνει κεδρόδασος και είναι μία περιοχή που πραγματικά υφίσταται στα προάστια της Αθήνας. Το album περιγράφει την αλαζονική επέκταση της πόλης, τον αποπνικτικό της χαρακτήρα και την επιρροή που έχει πάνω στους ανθρώπους -σαν ζωντανός οργανισμός- ζητώντας τους συνεχώς περισσότερα και δίνοντάς τους συνεχώς λιγότερα. Το Maliveni αποτελεί τον αντίποδα όλου αυτού του χάους. Την επιστροφή στις ρίζες, τη στροφή της προσοχής προς τον άνθρωπο και την εσωτερικότητά του, στην ανάγκη να ξεφύγουμε από κάθε επιδερμικό.
