Motörhead - "Sex And Death" (Live in Madrid 1995)
Here we are still fighting
fighting for our lives!
Danger in the trenches
but we still survive!
We know who we are!
We know who we are!
We remember every move
(We still bear the scars!)
Don't look for maturity
don't you even dare!
We are our own security
and we don't even care!
We know what we do!
We know what we do!
We do what we must
(and we admire our attitude)
Be damned, if you can't handle it
(We) hope you break your neck
Sex and Death
Show 'em your guitar!
Here we are in trouble
Comin' every day
Slaughter in the alley?
(that would) make our bleedin' day!
We know all the rules!
We know all the rules!
We know more than you would like
(cuz) we ain't in your school!
We are tired of you now-
we are sick and tired!
We are tired of hearing you
say we should be quiet!
You ain't worth our time
You ain't worth our time
You ain't worth a nickel, babe
you ain't worth a dime
We ain't gonna give it up
as long as we got breath:
Sex and Death
The answer to life's mystery
is simple and direct:
Sex and Death
Runnin' down the highway
and we ain't tired yet:
Sex and Death

Νέα σειρά από "ζωντανές" ηχογραφήσεις κυκλοφορούν οι Motörhead. Φέρει τον τίτλο "The Löst Tapes" με το πρώτο μέρος "The Löst Tapes Vol. 1 (Live in Madrid 1995)" να έχει "βγει" ήδη.
Remember those? Those things with the dual spools and loads of wide brown plastic recording string that’d occasionally unravel and hang out of the shell, requiring a pencil and firm wrist to spin back into place?
Yeah, well, once upon a time, old-school sound systems contained cassette decks for the express purpose of recording shows, and these “cassette” things were a standard part of every tour. Motörhead were certainly no exception, recording show after show.
They contain gold, pure aural gold, and had for many years sat hundreds of feet underground in a small cave Lemmy owned, guarded by small, hairy centurions in Roman armor with small spears and bad attitudes.
Only the magic password would release them, and thankfully, Lem had scribbled it down and left it inside an old sketch book for us (no, were won’t tell you the password, although it did have the words ’nie nie nie’ in it).
There were loads of the dirty, dusty, greasy little buggers gathered, with the likes of Lyon, Liverpool, Hamburg and Chippenham (!!) scrawled in biro on the tiny labels alongside a date... and thus we are delighted to announce that this unique collection of live gems will now be heard by the world, via carefully digitized transfers, in a new series of predominantly digital releases titled The Löst Tapes.
So here’s to The Löst Tapes... and we’d like to confirm, no diminutive Roman centurions were harmed in the procurement of these treasures! Volume one has been hand-picked by the increasingly deaf, but well-meaning (and hydrated!) Motörhead team, along with surviving members Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee, and sees the trio in blistering form on the Sacrifice album tour recorded at the Sala Aqualung in Madrid Spain on 1st June 1995.»
