Οι Witch Cross μας έρχονται από την Δανία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 1979 ως Blood Eagle. Τρία χρόνια αργότερα (και μετά την κυκλοφορία ενός single) μετονομάσθηκαν σε Witch Cross. Διατηρήθηκαν "εν ζωή" μέχρι το 1986 κυκλοφορώντας έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο, τέσσερα demos και ένα single.

Επανήλθαν προ δεκαετίας με δισκογραφικό απολογισμό της δεύτερης περιόδου ένα full length album και δύο συλλογές. Το νέο τους δισκογραφικό πόνημα φέρει τον τίτλο "Angel of Death" κι αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει τον πρώτο καλοκαιρινό μήνα...

Witch Cross: «We are proud to announce the release of the video for a brand new track Phoenix Fire from our forthcoming album ‘Angel of Death’. A production which we managed to put together despite being stuck in four different countries during the COVID-19 lock-down.

Hail to Satan for the internet and a lot of positive energy from all the amazing people involved with the band. The new album "Angel of Death" will be out on 11 June 2021 on High Rollers records, whom we worked with on the two previous releases: The ‘Fit For Fight’ reissue and the demo compilation ‘Fighting Back’. We can’t wait to be back out there meeting all our great metal friends and playing live again later this year.»
