Metatrone: Ιταλικό power metal συγκρότημα με χριστιανική θεματολογία. Δημιουργήθηκαν (ως Metafora) το 1997 και τέσσερα χρόνια αργότερα "πήραν" το τωρινό τους όνομα. Μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι:
«Metatrone ("Metaphysic throne of God") is a power / prog metal combo based in Catania (Sicily, Italy). The band merges into one its natural metal attitude with both laical and christian / catholic inspired lyrics.
Throughout fully clean and melodic vocals to loud raging growls, Metatrone gained the attention of the media for its unique feature, as to have a priest behind speedy articulated keyboards session and grow as well, fr. Davide Bruno.
Hammering rythmics, accurate songwriting and intensive arrangements research make the band keeps the flag of power and prog metal high into the worldwide scene.»
Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους και ισάριθμα singles. Το τραγούδι "Molokai" (το βίντεο του οποίου σας παρουσιάζουμε σήμερα) προέρχεται από τον δίσκο "Eucharismetal" που κυκλοφόρησε την άνοιξη του 2016 (από την Rockshots Records)...
Metatrone (explain "Molokai"): «This song is one of the strongest from "Eucharismetal" album, the anger you can find comes out from the will against religious fanatism of any catholic fringe which could be considered as pure secret societies where the person is set apart. So it ends to create a "creed" which lives for itself, breaking up human relationships.»
Δελτίο τύπου: «Eucharismetal is the best picture of the fusion of our being musicians in Corpus Christi, in the Eucharist which our music is fed. This is why we choose Him as the title of the album, it's very heavy sounding lyrically and musically. Lyrics are based on our life experiences, our hopes, our wishes, our struggles and forgiveness: all of that connected with the Holy Scripture.
