Ανανεωμένοι οι Firewind επέστρεψαν δισκογραφικά μετά από μία τριετία. Ανανεωμένοι ως προς την σύνθεση της μπάντας καθώς παρελθόν αποτελεί ο πληκτράς Bob Katsionis και ο τραγουδιστής Henning Basse.

Την θέση στο μικρόφωνο πήρε ο Herbie Langhans (βλ. Beyond the Bridge, Radiant, The Lightbringer of Sweden, Whispers in Crimson, Avantasia (live), ex-Seventh Avenue, ex-The Preachers, ex-Neoshine, Voodoo Circle, ex-Sinbreed, ex-Symphonity).

Ο διάδοχος του album "Immortals" (Ιανουάριος 2017) και ένατος συνολικά "ολοκληρωμένος" στουντιακός δίσκος της μπάντας του Κώστα Καραμητρούδη (a.k.a. Gus G.) φέρει ως τίτλο το όνομα του συγκροτήματος και "βγήκε" τον περασμένο Μάιο...
