The first single "Gods of War" sets the stage for this story: The year is 1867, and Austrian Emperor Francis Joseph is forced to accept the terms of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise after suffering losses in the Austro-Prussian War of 1866. With the destiny of his empire uncertain, he questions whether his realm even has a future, or only its glorious past.»
