Η "Θεία Κωμωδία" (Iταλικά: La Divina Commedia, αρχικός τίτλος Commedia) είναι επικό - αφηγηματικό ποίημα του Δάντη Αλιγκέρι, το οποίο γράφτηκε στο διάστημα 1308-1321. Χωρίζεται σε τρία κύρια μέρη "Κόλαση", "Καθαρτήριο" και "Παράδεισος" κι αφηγείται το ταξίδι του Δάντη στον Άδη, με οδηγούς τον Βιργίλιο και την Βεατρίκη.
Κάθε μέρος περιλαμβάνει 33 ωδές και μία εισαγωγική. Στην "Κόλαση" (η οποία περιγράφεται να έχει κωνοειδή μορφή) ο Δάντης καυτηριάζει όλους τους εγκληματίες και τους πολιτικούς του αντιπάλους εμφανίζοντάς τους να βασανίζονται με φρικτό τρόπο.
Στο "Καθαρτήριο" περιγράφει πώς γίνεται η κάθαρση της ανθρώπινης ψυχής από τις αμαρτίες της πριν αυτή εισέλθει στον Παράδεισο όπου γίνονται δεκτοί όλοι οι ενάρετοι άνθρωποι. Τέλος, στον "Παράδεισο" ο Δάντης περιγράφει τη συνάντησή του με τους Αγίους και τους μεγάλους διανοητές.
Η Θεία Κωμωδία αποτελεί επιπλέον σημαντική προσφορά του Δάντη στη διαμόρφωση της Ιταλικής γλώσσας. Ουσιαστικά κατάφερε να συνθέσει τα λατινικά, τα οποία ομιλούνταν από τους μορφωμένους και τη φλωρεντιανή διάλεκτο που μιλούσε ο λαός.
Ο αρχικός τίτλος του έργου ήταν "Κωμωδία". Ο όρος "Θεία" προστέθηκε μεταγενέστερα όταν το αποκάλεσε με αυτό τον τρόπο ο Βοκάκιος. Η μελοποίηση της "Θείας Κωμωδίας" αποτελεί το έργο με το οποίο ασχολούνται οι Starbynary την τελευταία τριετία.
Η τριλογία ολοκληρώθηκε προ ημερών με την κυκλοφορία του δίσκου "Divina Commedia: Paradiso". Είχαν προηγηθεί τα "Divina Commedia: Inferno" (2017) και "Divina Commedia - Purgatorio" (2019). Οι Starbynary μας έρχονται από την Ιταλία. Δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από επτά χρόνια κι έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους...
Bio: «Starbynary is a project created by two old friends. Joe Caggianelli, after a long experience, as singer of Derdian, calls his old friend Leo Giraldi and decide to create "Starbynary" togheter; this project should marks a turning point into the musical career of both.
The name "Starbynary" borns to the concept of astronomy that describes "a star system consisting of two stars orbiting around their common center of mass" it means that this project is a brainchild of two persons (Leo and Joe) that put all themselves into the music of Starbynary as "center of mass".
...But during this beautiful journey, on our way we found "third star", Luigi Accardo, and we absolutely wanted him to stay with us. No matter when and where he was born our concept of Starbynary, now we are three, and we are proud of this!
The Starbynary's declared target is only create the music that they love to play, hoping that can likes too much people as possible!And now, the Starbynary story is to be written...»
