Slaughter in Salem.
I am the right hand of god
and this is my instrument of death.
In a village they called Salem
there was no one left to save them.
the unruly mob begins to grow
crying out we must have justice
call in the Witchfinder General
surely he's the one who really knows
Witchfinder says yes I’m an old man
my powers weak but I'll help you find them
We must move fast before their power grows
Witchfinder knows the evils he'll face
He has to win or die a disgrace
Please God give me one more night
There's a slaughter in Salem
The witch is gonna burn tonight
God is tired of playing
Witchfinder's gonna fly tonight

He's burning everything in sight
All the demons and decoys
are gonna learn on thing tonight
They better run for their life
The next night he went to Salem
The stars were shining
The moon was trying
But the clouds they grew like a disease
Witchfinder knew the witches were near
He had this feeling a twitch on his ear
He raised his cross
And lightning cracked the sky
All at once they came from all sides
Chanting a curse, I tell you no lie
Witchfinder smiled
And slowly turned to stone
There's a slaughter in Salem

Witchfinders gonna fly tonight

He's burning everything in sight
All the demons and decoys
are gonna learn one thing tonight
They better run for their life.
It was quiet, the ground started shaking
Lightning fried a witch like bacon
All at once the earth cracked open wide
you wouldn't believe the noises that they made
As they slid into they're graves
One final scream caboosed the eerie show
Witchfinder died he gave us his life
To rid the evils that lurk in the night
I still remember the smile on his face
But as you know the story goes on
Of good and bad
Who's right and who's wrong
But for this night the good marches on

Οι White Witch μας έρχονται από την Πενσιλβανία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1984 και συνεχίζουν μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Το 1988 κυκλοφόρησαν (αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενο σε κασέτα) το ντεμπούτο τους. Πρόκειται για ep τεσσάρων τραγουδιών υπό τον τίτλο "Hell Is Doomed". (Οι δύο "ολοκληρωμένοι" τους δίσκοι "βγήκαν" στην τρέχουσα χιλιετία.) Το ep επανακυκλοφόρησε από την Heaven and Hell Records. Τον περασμένο Μάιο σε ψηφιακή μορφή και τον Ιούνιο σε cd (σε 500 αντίτυπα με δύο επιπλέον τραγούδια)...
