Silius: Αυστριακή thrash metal μπάντα, η οποία δημιουργήθηκε προ επταετίας. Αναφέρει ως επιρροές συγκροτήματα όπως οι Black Sabbath, Pantera, Metallica, Exodus, Megadeth κι ότι έχει κερδίσει τρία βραβεία, ένα εξ' αυτών το "Beer Lovers"!
Οι Silius έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα demo κι έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο με τον δεύτερο να είναι προ των πυλών. Φέρει τον τίτλο "Worship to Extinction" κι αναμένεται στα τέλη του τρέχοντος μήνα. Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι οι Αυστριακοί metallers προτιμούν Έλληνες σχεδιαστές καθώς στο προηγούμενο ("Hell Awakening") είχαν τον Ανέστη Γκούντα και σε τούτο τον Γιάννη Νάκο...

Δελτίο τύπου: «“Worship To Extinction” is the band’s second full length album. Mixed by Andreas Reinhart at Subsoundstation Studio and mastered by “Best Producer 2017-Heavy Music Award” winner Henrik Udd at Henrik Udd Recording Studios (Architects, Hammerfall, Powerwolf).
The cover artwork and layout is made by Giannis Nakos at Remedy Art Design. A perfectly fitting depiction of the music that gives the viewer impulses on themes like religion, corruption, lies and faith.

Bio: «Silius are from Austria and founded in late 2013 by guitar player Haui. They play modern Thrash Metal. After half a year in the rehearsal room and songwriting, they play their first gig on 21.06.2014 and since then they are constantly present live!
➥ 2014: A DEMOn CD with 4 tracks appears.
➥ 2015: They win two national band competitions (Wacken Metal Battle and Metalchamp) and present themselves at the world's biggest metal festivals like Wacken Open Air, Metal Days, Nova Rock... they also play as support for Arch Enemy, Soulfly, Biohazard, Crowbar,Obituary and many more...
➥ 2016: The recordings for the debut album „Hell Awakening“ begin, which was released on September 1st, 2017 via Massacre Records. The board was recorded and produced with 11 tracks by Lia RD Liapakis (Suicidal Angels, Mystic Prophecy, Devil's Train...) at the Music Factory in Kempten. the Album got great critics over all and the Band keep it going Live
➥ 2017: Was a rather quiet year for Silius, some live concerts and the debut release on 1 September.
➥ 2018: The rhythm guitarist announces his departure and SILIUS continues as a quartet: Mario Haui Haueis (lead guitar), Ralph Jurschitsch (drums), Martin Storch (bass and vocals) and Matthias Thurner (lead vocals). In the same year they supported Soulfly, Obituary and others and signed a new record contract with ROAR.
➥ 2019: Starts with some live shows and various festivals, including the terrific DONG Open Air in Germany. In Autumn, Silius hit the Studio to record there second Full length Album "Worship to Extinction".
➥ 2020: The album was completed by the end of February, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis until autumn...on June the Band and the Label ROAR Rock of Angels Records decided to but out the Album on 28th August 2020.»
