Ammo - "Taking The Throne" (ep)
Οι Ammo μας έρχονται από τον Καναδά. Μπάντα κλασικού - παραδοσιακού (80ς δηλαδή) heavy metal, η οποία δημιουργήθηκε προ πενταετίας, χαρακτηρίζει την μουσική της ως "bone shaking traditional heavy metal" και δηλώνει ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι Judas Priest, Symphony X, WASP, Stratovarious, Hammerfall, Grim Reaper.
Το καλοκαίρι του 2016 κυκλοφόρησαν το single "Too Metal for Metal" και τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο το ντεμπούτο τους. Πρόκειται για (αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενο) ep, τεσσάρων τραγουδιών στην ψηφιακή μορφή - πέντε στο cd (έχει και το single "Too Metal for Metal"), υπό τον τίτλο "Taking the Throne"...
Δελτίο τύπου: «Started in 2015 by Brett “Hexx” Williams and Struan Robertson, AMMO was a project where they could write and perform heavy metal music that pays homage to bands of the past while giving it a modern edge.
After recruiting Alex Erhardt (Ex-Horde of Worms) and Megan Merrick (Iron Kingdom), the band started performing live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band had a brief hiatus in 2018 and returned without Merrick. Replacing her was guitarist Jesse Harvey.
AMMO quickly grew into a local powerhouse who played with the likes of Grim Reaper, Floatsam and Jetsam, Anvil, Helix, Warbringer, and Enforcer. During 2018, Jesse Harvey became the lead singer so Brett Hexx could focus on the lead guitar work. On October 25th 2019, a 5 song EP titled, “Taking the Throne” was released independently.»
