Τον Οκτώβριο του 1980, κυκλοφόρησε (ως single, με το "Dirty Love" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου) το τραγούδι "Ace of Spades". Λίγες ημέρες αργότερα (αρχές Νοεμβρίου) και ο ομότιτλος δίσκος. Τα υπόλοιπα είναι heavy metal ιστορία. Από τις σημαντικότερες στιγμές στην καριέρα των Motörhead κι ένα από τα καλύτερα (και εμβληματικά) τραγούδια στην μυθολογία του heavy metal. Προ ημερών κυκλοφόρησε ένα lyric video του θρυλικού τραγουδιού στο επίσημο κανάλι της (διαλυμένης πλέον) μπάντας στο You Tube...
