Οι Circle Of Witches μας έρχονται από την Ιταλία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2004 από τον Mario Bove. Heavy / doom metal μπάντα με αναφερόμενες επιρροές τους Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Grand Magus κι έχει κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους (συν ένα demo, ένα ep κι ένα dvd). Ο πλέον πρόσφατος φέρει τον τίτλο "Natural Born Sinners" και "βγήκε" τον περασμένο Μάιο...
Δελτίο τύπου: «The Oracle is the 3rd single track from Natural Born Sinners album. It’s the fourth song in the album list and it refers to Lucifer, the bringer of enlightenment in the men’s mind. The lyric underlines the similitude with Prometheus, the Titan in the ancient Greek mythology who stole the fire (i.e. the civilization, arts and crafts) giving it to mankind.
This arose Zeus’ fury against him. This is a song influenced by a doom metal sound, solemn, mid-tempo based, powerful and melodic. As Prometheus did, Lucifer gave dignity to man, inspiring the intellect with doubt, rationality, criticism and gave to mankind the task to recreate the world with the power of science and arts.
He was the very first allied of men against his father’s will. The lyrics show people gathering around the light of the Oracle. They understand how this light can set them free from the mud in which they're bound. Then the point of view shifts on Lucifer's voice as he declares his intents to the whole mankind.
The graphic was commissioned to the artist Francesco Saverio Ferrara, acclaimed international artist, skilled inker in love with Medieval times and fantasy stories, art director for Zhistorica. He shaped the concept of Lucifer's army raised to war against Heaven, all humans awakened by infernal trumpets. The animation was Luigi Guarinos' job, video editing and VFX design artist. He worked with some other Italian bands and some shorts.»

The song talks about Lucifer seen as Prometheus who brings the light of intellect to all mankind, giving them the power to reshape the creation with Arts and Science. Francesco Saverio Ferrara, skilled ink master, created a visual concept about Lucifer raising the army for the final battle against heaven. The animation is by Luigi Guarino, a talented VFX designer.»
Little trivia: «This song was composed the night Lemmy passed away. It has no relations with Motorhead themes and sounds, but it’s a way out from deep pain the band felt.»
