Οι Orodruin δημιουργήθηκαν στην Νέα Υόρκη στα τελειώματα του προηγούμενου αιώνα. Με όνομα εμπνευσμένο από την μέση γη του Tolkien αρέσκονται σε doom metal μονοπάτια και ρυθμούς. Το 2003 κυκλοφόρησαν το ντεμπούτο τους υπό τον τίτλο "Epicurean Mass".

16 χρόνια μετά ο διάδοχός του είναι προ των πυλών. Φέρει τον τίτλο "Ruins of Eternity" κι αναμένεται στα τέλη του τρέχοντος μήνα. Οι Orodruin έχουν κυκλοφορήσει συνολικά τέσσερα demos, ένα ep, έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο, ένα split (μαζί με τους Reverend Bizarre) κι ένα DVD...
