Τo φθινόπωρο του 2016 κυκλοφόρησαν το ομώνυμο ep, ενώ στις αρχές Μαρτίου "βγήκε" ο πρώτος full length δίσκος τους, ο οποίος φέρει τον τίτλο "Kindred: Act I"...

The current incarnation of the band is all of these influences mixed with a lot of vodka and Eastern European melancholy, shaken and stirred. Unleashing their self-titled EP in 2016, Red Cain are returning in 2018 with a debut full length entitled "Kindred" planned for later release this year.
Red Cain released its debut self-titled EP in November 2016 to rave of excellent reviews from a variety of publications such as Dead Rhetoric, MetalUnderground, and Firewind magazine, among many others. Red Cain's first single Hiraeth had the honour of winning Metal Recording of the Year at the 2017 YYC Music Awards. The band has a strong emerging fanbase around the world, being named one of the top 200 bands of 2016 by Headbangers Latinoamerica and the EP's cover art selected as one of 2016's 15 best by Metal Underground.
Evgeniy Zayarny's trademark powerful, dark clean vocals and storytelling depth overlay meticulous, inventive guitar work and dueling solos of guitarists Brendan Doll and Noah Bockmuehl, as well as Rogan McAndrews' groove and intelligent basslines - all backed by symphonic brilliance and Taylor Gibson's thunderous precision behind the drums. Red Cain is a rare mix of articulate songwriting, heavy, groove-filled instrumentals, and evocative, rich vocals - all creating a memorable and dramatic musical experience.»

Red Cain: «For the "ZERO" video, RED CAIN collaborated with world-class director Rik Zak and cinematographer Jun Ren to recreate their own vision of the vampire myth based on the tale of Osiris - the Egyptian god of the dead - and incorporated this vision into the concept behind the album itself.
Filmed in the dystopian, eye-catching, and inhospitable badlands of Drumheller, Alberta, the story-driven video features Red Cain frontman Evgeniy Zayarny alongside R.A.V. - the singer of power metal collective Ravenous: EH, in the main roles, and follows the track's lyrical content in exploring the relationship between fate and free will, success and failure, the search for immortality - and an inglorious death.
With the video of "ZERO", we travel to ancient Egypt - dry, scorched, old as time, built on top of dead empires; littered with secrets and the devoured remains of hundreds of gods.
And it is one of these that speaks to you now; the vampire god, the god of death Osiris - and his human vessel, the seeker of forbidden knowledge that may be, in the grand stillness of the desert, ultimately equal to nothing.
Seek - and you shall find; create - and you will be remembered; perish - and be forgotten. So goes the mantra of the mighty and the hope of the weak. So goes the endless cascade toward ZERO.»
