Το 1977 δημιουργήθηκε στην Βιέννη το συγκρότημα Gallows Pole. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα μετονομάσθηκε σε Angelina, αλλά το 1981 επέστρεψε στο Gallows Pole κι από τότε αρχίζει η δισκογραφική παρουσία των Αυστριακών hard rockers. Εννέα full length albums κι ένα single απολογισμός τους. Ο νέος δίσκος των Gallows Pole είναι προ των πυλών. Φέρει τον τίτλο "This Is Rock" κι αναμένεται στα τέλη του καλοκαιριού...
