Moontowers - "Farewell" (video)
Πρόπερσι δημιουργήθηκαν στην Γερμανία οι Moontowers. Συγκρότημα επικού heavy metal. Το περασμένο καλοκαίρι κυκλοφόρησε το ντεμπούτο τους. Πρόκειται για ep τριών τραγουδιών υπό τον τίτλο "The Arrival". Τον Ιούνιο "βγήκε" σε cd, τον Ιούλιο ψηφιακά, ενώ τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο κυκλοφόρησε σε βινύλιο, όχι αυτόνομα αλλά ως μέρος του split "The Arrival / High on Voodoo" των Knight / Moontowers...
Δελτίο τύπου: «At first there was the riff. On 20th January 2017, when Kuschke (g) and Kratz (d) met for the first time, it came to a fateful meeting to pay homage together to the riff. Well-known for years through friendship of their other bands DESASTER and METAL INQUISITOR, there had always been plans for a common project.
It took some time, but at the New Year's Eve party, the two finally planned to meet for a rehearsal. That became the birth of MOONTOWERS. Massive sparks flew between the two: mighty riffs met powerful rhythms; non-stop brilliant ideas and several songs were developed from the first jam (amongst other„Farewell“).
It was agreed that something unique had begun! What was needed was someone with inimitable vocal skills to front the band. A tip from a friend gave rise to Dommermuth (v). Popular in the Koblenzer music scene, he is espacialy known as the vocalist of BLUESIDE.
Once again, you could feel the magic in the air, in their first rehearsal together. With the addition of Baulig (b), the band was complete. He normally plays the rhythm guitar in the thrash metal band SECUTOR. The already mentioned riff, which was invented by Toni Iommi, led to the invention of heavy metal. This riff represents all that the MOONTOWERS` are about.
The MOONTOWERS also draw inspiration from the various influences of the band members. Those influences range from blues to black metal. It has to be powerful, epic and timeless; the music may not fit easily into a “genre”, but must arouse and touch on emotions.
Dommermuth's lyrics are a perfect match, which are indeed inspired by the epic "Lord of the Rings" but can also stand strong by them self and deal with epic battles and the depths of the human soul. After one and a half years of work in the seclusion of a rehearsal room, in June 2018 MOONTOWERS come into the light of the world with "The Arrival".
Although material was already written for an entire album, it was decided to honor the public initially with only three songs. That MOONTOWERS are an active band and not just a project, they will soon enter the world stage for the first time playing live to present the epic music and sound of the band. THE MOONTOWERS WILL RISE AGAIN! »
