Sacred Monster - "Worship the Weird" (album stream)
Οι Sacred Monster μας έρχονται από το Σικάγο. Δημιουργήθηκαν προ επταετίας και μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι: "riff-focused heavy metal from Chicago with a one-of-a-kind vocalist". Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο EPs κι έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο, ο οποίος φέρει τον τίτλο "Worship the Weird" και "βγήκε" προ ημερών...
Δελτίο τύπου: «Brothers, sisters and fish-people: Celebrate with us the unexplainable and the inescapable; the shapes just outside the corner of your eye. Pay tribute to the beasts that haunt your dreams and their creators. Join with us in wicked ceremony to give praise to the things that lurk below, outside space, and just beyond your door. Come, raise your hands! Let your mouths utter platitudes in twisted, torturous tongues! Come; and worship the weird.
Sacred Monster is pleased to release its first full-length album, "Worship the Weird"! Featuring eight tracks of riff-oriented metal blending influences of doom, thrash, NWOBHM and traditional metal, Worship the Weird takes listeners on a chilling journey through subjects ranging from Stephen King's The Dark Tower ("Face of my Father") to the classic Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet", and stories devised by the band themselves ("Waverly Hills", "The Wraith").»
Bio: «Formed in early 2012 out of a mutual love of Doom Metal acts such as Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, and, of course, Black Sabbath, Sacred Monster has gone on to gradually include other influences from Thrash, Black Metal, Death Metal, and NWOBHM to arrive at their current style. Their music alternates between oppressive doom riffs, chainsaw thrashers, and eery acoustic passages. The band also has a love of lyrical topics such as mythology, Lovecraftian horrors, and even old Twilight Zone episodes.»
