Οι Shadowrise μας έρχονται από την Ολλανδία. Αρέσκονται στο συμφωνικό metal αναφέροντας ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι: Wintersun, Insomnium, Symphony X, Keep of Kalessin και Fleshgod Apocalypse. Δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από εννέα χρόνια. Πρόπερσι κυκλοφόρησαν το ep "Escape from Shadow Island", ενώ τον περασμένο Μάρτιο κατάφεραν να "βγάλουν" τον πρώτο full length δίσκο τους με τίτλο τ' όνομά τους...
