Saracen - "We Have Arrived" (audio)
Saracen: Βρετανική μπάντα (από το Derbyshire). Μουσικά υπάγεται στο ευρύτερο φάσμα του NWOBHM. Το ντεμπούτο της με τον εκπληκτικό τίτλο "Heroes, Saints & Fools" (και το ακόμη πιο ωραίο εξώφυλλο) είδε το φως της δημοσιότητας το 1981. Τρία χρόνια αργότερα (1984) κυκλοφόρησε το 2ο album του συγκροτήματος "Change of Heart" από την Neat Records.
Το τραγούδι που "ανοίγει" τον δίσκο είναι και το πλέον γνωστό των Saracen: "We Have Arrived" που κυκλοφόρησε και ως single λίγο αργότερα (με το "A Face in the Crowd" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου). Το Αγγλικό συγκρότημα παραμένει ενεργό μέχρι και τις ημέρες μας έχοντας κυκλοφορήσει έξι "ολοκληρωμένα" albums, δύο singles και μία συλλογή. Στα τέλη Νοεμβρίου θα επανακυκλοφορήσει το "Change of Heart" από την Skol Records...

Δελτίο τύπου: «While without a doubt Saracen are part of the legendary NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) movement, when it comes to describing their music, it's not that easy anymore. Epic symphonic rock? AOR? Melodic Metal? Progressive rock? Actually all these labels would be fine. Saracen's debut album entitled "Heroes, Saints And Fools" came out in 1981, and quickly became a cult classic of its own class, and on own terms.
The band disbanded in 1985 (and returned in full glory almost two decades later), but before that, managed to release one more album, "Change Of Heart", in 1983. The album, although promoted by several video clips and the legendary "Metal City" video tape (which they shared with Venom, Avenger and Warfare), is relatively unknown, as due to several complications, it has never been reissued nor reprinted. Until now!»
