Τον Δεκέμβριο του 1996 κυκλοφόρησαν οι Einherjer τον πρώτο full length δίσκο τους (είχε προηγηθεί το demo "Aurora Borealis" και το ep "Leve vikingånden") υπό τον τίτλο "Dragons of the North". Είκοσι χρόνια αργότερα, τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο, κυκλοφόρησε η "επετειακή" έκδοσή του με νέο artwork και επανηχογραφημένα τα τραγούδια.

Informations: Re-recorded of the band's debut album with new artwork. The lyrics to seventh track, "Slaget ved Harfsfjord", are taken from Þorbjörn Hornklofi's 9th century account of the Battle of Hafrsfjord. The remaining songs all feature original English language lyrics. Recorded at Studio Borealis, Haugesund, Norway & ABC Studio, Etne, Norway. Mixed by Matt Hyde, Los Angeles, USA.
