Οι Sirenia δημιουργήθηκαν από τον Morten Veland το 2001 όταν έφυγε από τους Tristania. Το αρχικό όνομα της μπάντας ήταν Masters of Sirenia, ωστόσο γρήγορα το "πετσόκοψαν". Οι Νορβηγοί έχουν κυκλοφορήσει επτά "ολοκληρωμένα" albums και τον Νοέμβριο αναμένεται το όγδοο. Τιτλοφορείται "Dim Days of Dolor" και το lyric video του τραγουδιού - single "The 12th Hour" μας βάζει στο κλίμα...
